The formation of Dr. Angle's select group marks the genesis of the organization known as the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and the specialty today known as orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

Each site has been carefully checked by an experienced educator to ensure the content and links are appropriate for kids aged 7-12. Founded in 1921, the SAO has approximately 1,800 members in all categories and is the second largest of the regional (constituent) associations of the American Association of Orthodontists. It is the only AAO regional association with its own office building and full-time executive director.
These are a few books that we have enjoyed and might recommend to parents looking for reading material for their children. You may use them to prepare for dental visits (not really the first dental visit, as you know that should be at age one), increase dental awareness, or best for entertainment and as bed-time stories - after brushing.
